Kibu co-founder and CEO Ari Andersen was the featured guest on Secure Ventures with Kyle McNulty, a podcast that profiles the founders and investors shaping the cybersecurity industry.

In the episode, "Kibu | CEO Ari Andersen on 'Serendipity Maxing' and Reimagining Trust," Andersen and McNulty explore the thinking behind Kibu and the path that led to it. Kibu is a digital trust layer that provides identity verification infrastructure for peer-to-peer connections. Using the Kibu app, individuals can be certain they are communicating with the person they intend to, rather than an AI deepfake or a criminal impersonating someone they know.

The conversation also traces Andersen's unconventional route to founding a cybersecurity company. Before Kibu, he launched the podcast Millennials Don't Suck, grew it into a production company for other media, and then bootstrapped a software company during the COVID era. Kibu is his first venture-backed company, built to bring real-world trust to remote communication.
